TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INTRODUCES THE LATEST ADDITION TO ITS LASER FAX LINE – THE e-STUDIO™190F

Multifunction Facsimile System Offers Hardworking Versatility For Medium and Large-Sized Office Environments

IRVINE, Calif., (Sept. 18, 2006) – Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today launched the e-STUDIO™190F, the latest addition to the company’s digital laser fax line. A versatile multifunction fax/copier/printer/scanner, it is ideal for medium-to-large workgroups that require a hardworking multifunction facsimile system. Boasting an ultra-fast scanning speed of 0.7 seconds and a print speed of 19 pages-per-minute (PPM), the e-STUDIO190F is designed to meet the needs of today’s competitive marketplace, offering speed, versatility and reliability in one easy-to-use system.

“The e-STUDIO190F is a state-of-the art multifunction facsimile system that offers faxing, printing and scanning in one easy-to-use package,” said Kay Fernandez, director, Product and Solutions Marketing. “With the introduction of the e-STUDIO190F, TABS continues to reinforce its commitment to developing total solutions offerings for mid-to-large work environments.”

Hardworking and Easy-to-Use

Whether it’s a one-page fax or a large, multi-page transmission, the e-STUDIO190F can handle a variety of business needs. Large and small jobs alike are executed quickly and efficiently using a 0.7 second per page Quick Scan speed and a large-capacity 100- sheet document feeder. A one-touch Auto-Dialer and QWERTY keyboard allows users to quickly program and search for up to 280 stored numbers and e-mail addresses.

For added security, the Mailbox Print feature stores correspondence in a specified mailbox to ensure printouts are received by the proper recipients. Easy print driver installation, user-friendly graphical interface and status monitoring all contribute to the e-STUDIO190F’s ease of use.

The e-STUDIO190F can fax double-sided documents by scanning one side and then the other, with scanned pages automatically transmitted in their original order. Users can print a multiple page fax, as received, on both sides of the paper utilizing the automatic duplex unit. Double-sided printing also can be used with 2-in-1 and 4-in-1 printing to greatly reduce paper costs and filing space. And, for superior legibility and halftone gradations, the standard 600 dpi printing resolution can be increased to 1200 dpi-equivalent by adding the optional PCL printer controller.

Networking Capabilities

With a standard built-in Ethernet LAN interface, businesses can use the desktop software on a networked PC to send a fax directly from Windows® application software without printing on paper before transmitting. Users also can opt for a direct PC connection using the alternate USB interface.
